The Conte Brandolini d'Adda Pinot Grigio is a Friuli DOC white wine from the historic Vistorta estate, reflecting the excellence and winemaking tradition of Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is crafted from a careful selection of Pinot Grigio grapes grown in cool, mineral-rich soils, with a production philosophy centred on preserving varietal freshness and fruit integrity. The wine is considered a classic, easy-drinking expression of the grape variety from this benchmark Italian white wine region.
Based at the historic Tenuta di Vistorta in the province of Pordenone, the Brandolini family has been present in Friuli Venezia Giulia for more than 600 years. The estate converted to certified organic farming in 2008 and is known for its benchmark Merlot as well as a range of white wines typical of Friuli.
100% Pinot Grigio
Notes of white pulp fruit such as pear and apple, with floral nuances and light minerality on the nose; on the palate it offers a full-flavoured, refreshingly crisp texture with a salty tang, edgy acidity, and confident impressions of golden apple with great length.
Friuli-Venezia Giulia in northeastern Italy is considered one of the sources of Italy's best white wines, where Italian, Germanic and Slavic cultures converge. The region's warm sunny days and cool nights, combined with mineral-rich soils, create ideal conditions for aromatic, well-balanced Pinot Grigio.
Typically retails around $10–$15 USD per bottle at most retailers.
